Computer Science and Engineering Head of Department

Dr.Siddaraju is a well-recognized expert in the field of Artificial Intelligence with an emphasis on Neural Networks and Machine Learning. He is an innovative researcher with 20 years of experience in academia and industry. He is frequently invited to deliver talks on various technological aspects for the benefit of students as well as the research community. He has filed for 5 Indian patents and has a strong record of publishing papers in Scopus Indexed and UGC approved journals. He is also the recipient of prestigious research grants from AICTE, New Delhi and a member of the Intel curriculum committee. He frequently collaborates with researchers from other academic and research institutions which are reflected through his publications and patents.

Apart from academic activities, he also believes in community outreach. He is involved in organizing International Conferences, Workshops and Symposiums. He has been selected as an editor for some of the top-notch journals in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. He has also been invited as Conference Chairman.

He has also been nominated as a member of the Board of Studies, Board of Examination and LIC Committee, Fact Finding Committee for Universities like Visvesvaraya Technological University – Belagavi, Tumkur University, Anna University and other Autonomous Institutions. He has also worked as Chairman of the AICTE EVC committee.

Dr.Siddaraju also has Industrial experience and has worked as a developer in the LCA Rudder Design group, NAL, Bengaluru. He holds membership in various prestigious organizations like IEEE, ACM, CSI and ISTE.

He has been awarded DSc. degree from the Commonwealth Vocational University, Kingdom of Tonga, in recognition of his contribution towards the advancement of Science and Technology. 

Dr.Siddaraju has successfully mentored 5 research scholars toward their Ph.D. degrees and advising another 5 research scholars.
