What is the Program?

As per the request from the Training and Placement department, "Outdoor activities" that signifies the industry competences involving various tasks were planned. It was conducted for the entire day in such a way that the students feel it different from the conventional lectures. These activities are learning processes for the students to acquire Corporate Skills and to make them ready for different industry profiles.

What’s so special in the name?

The Management wanted us to name for this program. After two days of brain-storming, we kept the name as

"E = mc²"

(Engineers are equal to Masters in Confidence and Corporate skills)

The purpose of the name is “Usually Engineers are highly confident in what they do, but in terms of corporate skills many of them need training". This program aimed to build certain corporate skills for the students so as to become the Masters.

"E = mc²" - This one formula that most of the physics concepts are based upon was selected as the title of the program to connect the fun with learning.

Students should learn top corporate skills through activities which will ensure their “Industry Readiness”.

Below are the activities planned and executed:

• Around 360 students had actively participated in the program and it was a great success. There was so much enthusiasm with the students until the end of the program. Students themselves expressed that they have learnt so many skills through the activities. They also requested that they need many numbers of the program like this in the future.
• Many students said that this program should be conducted for all students in the college so that everyone acquires certain corporate skills with fun.
• They also told these activities and skills which they have learnt are not only going to achieve their corporate goals, but also useful for them through-out their life.
• This " E = mc²" helped the students to get confidence, to understand the need of learning the corporate skills and to make them ready for Industry competences.
