About Department

Welcome to the Department of Computer Science and Business Systems(CSBS) at Dr.Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. The Department of “Computer Science and Business Systems(CSBS) was established in the year 2022, the college was affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. This programme aims to impart knowledge on cutting-edge technologies and business skills with hands-on exposure to make students industry-ready. The program is designed to enhance the employability skills of the students and enable them to use latest computer technology in building a business management system and meet the ever changing needs and demands of the industry. The students are exposed to learn the recent trends such as Computational Statistics, Software Development Models, Design Thinking, Cognitive Science & Analytics, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence to name a few.The focus is on holistic learning and empowering students to make significant contributions at all levels to foster sustainable growth amidst ever changing professional demands and societal needs.

Students Participated in  IIT Bombay Aero Modeling Competition , who have achived top 30 among 600 teams. Jain university Multicopter Competition(UAV) they won Best Performer Award

The department has four highly qualified and motivated faculty members out of which two are Doctorates from recognised universities with diverse specialisations like Computer Vision,Wireless Sensor Networks,Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics, Adhoc Networks,  Software Engineering etc.  All faculties are involved in research and technical paper publications in reputed technical journals, conferences across the world.

  • Students have won First prize in Smart India Heckathon (SIH) , also won prizes in intercollegiate competitions, project exhibitions and cultural events.
