Dr Mahalinga V Mandi is the Principal of Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology in Bangalore, boasting a solid academic foundation with a BE & M.Tech from Mysore University, and a PhD from Dr. M. G. R. Educational and Research Institute, Chennai. With over 34 years of experience in research, development, teaching, and administration. He has also served as Dean (Exam), Dean (P & D), HOD (ECE), Coordinator TEQIP-III (World Bank Project); Nodal Officer (Academic) - TEQIP- II (World Bank Project); Member - Governing Body; Member Secretary IQAC; Member - Academic Council Dr. AIT. His research interests are Cryptography, Network Security, DSP and Digital Communication.

Dr. C. R. Mahesha

Dr. C R Mahesha is a renowned faculty member in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management. He has obtained his ME and Ph.D. degrees from Bangalore University. With an impressive academic background, Dr. Mahesha has 20 years of teaching experience and 15 years of research experience. He has been serving as the Associate Dean of Academics since 2024 and has taken charge as the Incharge Dean since September 2025. He has gained global recognition, with over 35 publications, 6 patents, and 20 international conference presentations. His contributions underscore the institution's commitment to excellence, innovation, and inclusivity, preparing students for a rapidly evolving world.

Professor, Mechanical Engineering

He received PhD Degree from Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Currently he is Dean (Examinations) and Head of School of Core Engineering and Technology. He has also served as Head of the Department, Mechanical Engineering, Academic Council Member and Student Welfare Officer. His research interests are Materials Science, Smart Materials, Composites and Rotor Dynamics. He has received grants from VGST and DRDO.

Dr. Shylaja K R

Dr. K. R. Shylaja is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, with more than 25 years of academic, research, and administrative experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from JNTU, Kakinada, and has strong expertise in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, Swarm Robotics, Cognitive Architectures, and Graph Theory-based chemical analysis. Her international research collaboration includes a funded research visit to the University of Hull, UK, where she worked on curiosity-driven swarm robotics, resulting in multiple high-impact publications.

Dr. L. Manjunatha Rao MBA, MCA, Ph. D

Prof. L. Manjunatha Rao is currently working as a Professor and Dean (P&D) at Dr. AIT, Bengaluru. He has served as Deputy Adviser at NAAC, Bengaluru for more than 3 years. He has worked as Director at Dayananda Sagar School of Information Technology during 2005 to 2014. He did his MCA, M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Computer Science, He also did his Master's in Business Administration. He was nominated as a Chairman Board of Studies- MCA Program of Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. Also he was nominated as Chairman- Board of Examination, BCA Program of Bangalore University.

Dr. Prerana Chaitra has received 2 International awards, 2 National awards and a State honor. She has received PhD in Computer and Information Sciences from VTU. She has 2 International and 2 National patents for her credit. She has vast experience both in Industry and Academia. During her tenure as HOD for CSE & ISE in different engineering colleges students have secured 4 university ranks including 1st rank and 4 Gold medals. She has Published 2 technical books in Machine Learning & IoT. She has received funds from different agencies for 6 projects. She has published more than 61 papers in International and National Journals. Has also received best paper awards. Her field of interest is Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Neural Networks, etc.

Dr.R.Murali

Dean (First Year Classes)

Dr. R. Murali received his Ph.D. from Bangalore University in Mathematics (Graph Theory) in 1999. Presently he is pursuing Post Doctoral Fellowship at NITK, Surathkal. He has successfully guided sixteen research scholars and is currently guiding four research scholars towards the completion of their doctoral degrees. He has published patents, more than 110 research papers in reputed international journals/ National Journals/Conferences. He has delivered more than 20 invited talks on various topics in graph theory and communication networks, is a reviewer for international journals and has served as an external examiner for Ph.D. theses. His areas of research include graph theory, communication networks, cryptography and fuzzy logic.

S.H. Santhosh Kumar (KCS, MSW, MA) is a distinguished academic and retired Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies with over 30 years of expertise in governance and social work. A UGC NET pioneer and KCS batch topper, he served as an Adjunct Professor at Tumkur University, having mentored over 5,000 students. His leadership highlights include roles as Managing Director of DCС Banks in Raichur and Shivamogga, earning accolades like the NABARD Best Performance Award. Specializing in HRD, labor laws, and mental health, he is a bilingual orator known for high integrity and emotional intelligence. Committed to grassroots impact, he serves as Honorary Secretary of SPREAD Trust, empowering rural youth and supporting destitute populations across Karnataka.
