Dr. Ramesh S has completed Master Degree in Industrial Electronics from VTU, Belagavi and Ph.D from Dr. MGR Educational & Research Institute, Chennai. His Research areas includes Cryptograpghy, Network Security, Cyber Security, Wireless Sensor Networks, Digital Communicatrion, Wireless communicatrion.. He has several Publications in reputed International Journals, Conferences and has also published Patents. He has guided several Students towards Masters and Ph.D in his area of expertise during his three decades of teaching and research. He has recieved Best Academician Award, by IJIEMR-Elsevier Social Science Research Network, December,2020.

He is involved regularly in conducting workshops, webinars, seminars and other outreach activities for the benefit of students and staff. He is also nominated as programme committee member for international Journals and conferences in the field of Electronics and communication Engineering. He is a life time member of ISTE, CRSI, ISAR, IAENG, IACSIT, ACEEE, SIE, CSTA.  He is Chairman of BOS and BOE, Department of ECE, Dr. AIT. Served as Dean (Examinations) Nodal Officer Finance, TEQIP III,  Oct 2017 to Jan 2021, Dr.AIT.Member, Academic Council, Dr.AIT, from the academic year 2019-20 to till date.Member, Planning and Evaluation Committee (PEC), Dr.AIT.Souvenir Co-ordinator, Dr.AIT, 2021 to 2023.
