Department of Civil Engineering, Dr.AIT organized an expert lecture “Advances in Waste Management” on 30/01/ 2023  by Dr.D.C.Sharma Professor, RRGI Bangalore. It was coordinated by Prof. C. Nanjunda Swamy and Dr. Ashwini L. K.

Department of Civil Engineering, Dr.AIT organized an expert lecture “INDUSTRIALIZATION AND ITS IMPACT ON ENVIRONMENT” on 15/02/2023  by Sri D. R. Kumaraswamy Chief Environmental Officer (Retd), KSPCB, Govt of Karnataka, Director, Prakruthi Institute of Environmental Studies. It was coordinated by Prof. C. Nanjunda Swamy and Dr. Ashwini L. K.

K, Mr. Naveen Kumar M., Dr. Hemanth Kumar V., Dr. Radhika M. Patel, and Mrs.Purnima K. Biranagi, and few technical staff and foreman were participated in this technical visit.

Technical visit to T K Halli water treatment plant, Kanakapura Road, Malavalli Taluk, Mandya on 28/02/2023. Fifth-semester students along with the faculties  Mr. Ankeh S. B. Dr. Rakesh C., Dr. Chandrrsekar S., Mrs. Supritha R. M., and Mrs. Madhu K. S., and a few technical staff were participated in this technical visit.

The Department of Civil Engineering conducted a 12-day survey Camp for 5th semester students of Civil Engg. as a part of academics at Ghati Subramanya from 20/11/2023 to 02/12/2023 under the supervision of Mr. Ankesh S. B., and Mr. Sharath B., the Camp Officers.

Department of Civil Engineering organized two-days Student Development Program on “STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF RC BUILDING USING CSI ETABS” from 20th May 2024 to 21st May 2024. Dr. Ashwini L. K. Assistant Professor from Civil Engineering department coordinated this event.

Dr. Ashwini L. K. Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Department organized a seminar on “CARRER MENTORING AND PROFILE BUILDING FOR HIGHER STUDIES ABROAD” to the 6th semester UG students on 10th and 14th June 2024.
4. 2022-2023

The Department conducted a 12-day survey Camp for VI semester students of Civil Engg. as a part of academics at Ghati Subramanya from 23rd May 2023 to 3rd June 2023 under the supervision of Dr.Chandrrasekar, Mr. Naveen Kumar M and Dr. Hemanth Kumar V. the Camp Officers.

  • Survey Camp The Department conducted 7 Days Survey Camp for VI semester students of Civil Engg. as a part of academics at Bangalore University Campus (Jnanabharathi) from 15th to 21st March 2021 under the supervision of Dr.Chandrrasekar, the Camp Officer.
