The title of his thesis is “Experimental Studies on Interfacial Bond Strength in Concrete Filled Steel Tube (CFST) Columns subjected to Axial Load”.
• Sanjay Gowda (1DA22CV445) of UG student of civil dept. Secured gold in VTU karate championship held on 2nd December 2023 at RVIT Bangalore.

• Ms. Ashwini L. K., assistant professor in the Department of Civil Engg., Dr.AIT completed her Ph.D. defense on 04/08/2022 at Bangalore University under the guidance of Dr. M. Keshavamurthy, Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, Bangalore University. The title of her thesis is “Inelastic and performance-based design of Tall structures considering uncertainties in the material properties".
• Geetha L.(1DA13PCN02) research scholar in the Department of Civil Engineering completed her Ph.D. defense on 22/05/2023 under the guidance of Prof. M. N. Hegde. The title of her thesis is “Structural Damage Detection and Identification Using Fuzzy Genetic Algorithm”.
• Nikhil S. L. (1DA20CV051) UG student of the Department of Civil Engineering had qualified in GATE-2023.
• Dr. Kavitha S. Professor in the Department of Civil Engg., Dr.AIT served as a resource person for the workshop on innovative seismic protection of structural elements and structures with novel materials held on February 24th, 2023 in Xanthi, Greece organized by the Division of structural engineering science, DEMOCRITUS UNIVERSITY OF THRACE, GREECE.
• Dr. Kavitha S. Professor in the Department of Civil Engg., Dr.AIT served as Keynote speaker for  INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE  ON RESEARCH TECHNIQUES IN ENGINEERING AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT Organized by the National Institute of Computing, Bangalore on 5th March 2023.

• Professor Dr. S.D Venkataraj Mohan, was a Resource person during the AICTE –ISTE Induction /Refresher Program 2021-22 and delivered a talk on “ Pollution Control and Remediation-A Geo Environmental Approach” in Malnad College of Engineering from 29th Dec 2021 to 4th Jan 2022.

• Mr. Hemanth Kumar V., assistant professor in the department of civil Engg., Dr.AIT, completed his Ph.D. defense on 10th May 2022 at NITK, Surathkal under the guidance of Dr. Suresha S. N. Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, NITK. The title of his thesis is “ Effect of working temperature on Rheological Properties of Crumb rubber modified binders with warm mix additives”.

R. Ambedkar at Dr.AIT for the model titled “Green Building” under the guidance of Assistant Professor Mrs. Supritha R.M.
