• Geetha L.(1DA13PCN02) research scholar in the Department of Civil Engineering completed her Ph.D. defense on 22/05/2023 under the guidance of Prof. M. N. Hegde. The title of her thesis is “Structural Damage Detection and Identification Using Fuzzy Genetic Algorithm”.
• Nikhil S. L. (1DA20CV051) UG student of the Department of Civil Engineering had qualified in GATE-2023.
• Dr. Kavitha S. Professor in the Department of Civil Engg., Dr.AIT served as a resource person for the workshop on innovative seismic protection of structural elements and structures with novel materials held on February 24th, 2023 in Xanthi, Greece organized by the Division of structural engineering science, DEMOCRITUS UNIVERSITY OF THRACE, GREECE.

Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, NITK. The title of his thesis is “ Effect of working temperature on Rheological Properties of Crumb rubber modified binders with warm mix additives”.
