NCC cadets from 2 Karnataka Battalion, proudly representing Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, organized a successful event celebrating the International Year of Millets 2023, & participation with the agricultural club on 6 th December, 2023. Cadet Anjali Katiyar delivered an informative presentation, highlighting the importance of millets and their significance in the International Year of Millets. To engage the audience, Cadet Saheel and Cadet Mallika conducted a informative and interactive quiz on millets. The gathering aimed to shed light on the significance and promotion of millets in the global context.
The International Year of Millets celebration at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology concluded on a high note, leaving the audience informed, inspired, and motivated to advocate for the integration of millets into mainstream diets and agricultural practices. Culminating the event was the National Cadet Corps (NCC) presentation of a soul stirring NCC song, emphasizing unity, discipline, and the significance of collective efforts towards promoting the consumption and cultivation of millets. The event concluded with a memorable group photo, capturing the spirit of collaboration and commitment to promoting sustainable food practices.
