About IDEA Lab

The IDEA Lab provides an interdisciplinary platform where students and faculty can collaboratively work on cutting-edge projects, transforming theoretical knowledge into real-world applications. The IDEA Lab will drive research and development, entrepreneurship, and industry-academia collaboration, ultimately contributing to the technological advancement, socio-economic development of the region and the nation by leveraging state-of-the-art tools and technologies.

Integration of IDEA Lab with Existing Facilities
    The IDEA Lab will be seamlessly integrated with the existing facilities at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology to maximize resource utilization and enhance learning outcomes:
  • Collaboration with Departments: The IDEA lab will work in close coordination with departments such as Computer Science and Engineering , Information Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Science and Business Studies, Aeronautical Engineering, Medical Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
  • Utilization of Existing Infrastructure: The IDEA lab will leverage existing infrastructure such as computer lab, internet of things lab, data science lab, robotics lab, cryptography and network security, VLSI lab, embedded systems lab, electronics lab, nano materials lab, mechanical workshops, structural engineering lab and research centers ensuring optimal usage of resources.
  • Shared Resources: Shared access to advanced software’s, hardware, and fabrication tools will be provided, fostering a collaborative and interdisciplinary learning environment.
  • Support Services: Integration with the institute’s library, IT services, and administrative support will ensure smooth functioning and management of the IDEA lab.
