An in-house workshop on “Business Intelligence & Data Analytics” was organized by Yashaswi R and Sahana R with 56 participants

An in-house workshop on “Code Generation and Testing for Modern Software Engineering” was organized by Divya S and Dr Kavitha Devi C S with 63 participants.

2. 2024-2025

A technical talk on “Modern Trends in Industry” was delivered by Jyothi P from Wipro on 14 September 2025. The session focused on current industry practices, emerging technologies, and career insights. A total of 63 students participated in the event.

3. 2024-2025

The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CB) organized a technical event titled Nexora, aimed at fostering innovation, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities among students.

The event included various activities such as coding challenges, technical quizzes, and problem-solving competitions. It provided a platform for students to actively participate, collaborate, and showcase their technical knowledge and creativity.

In addition to technical activities, outdoor events like a cricket match were also organized to encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and overall student engagement.

Nexora was conducted successfully with enthusiastic participation and helped enhance both technical competency and extracurricular involvement among students.

Students Venkat P, Janani, Ananya, and Pratyush completed a project titled “Individual Level Crop Classification” at Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru under the guidance of Dr Vidyarani H J and Dr S N Omkar.

2. 2024-2025

Industrial visit to Bangalore Tech Summit 2025 was organized for students. A total of 53 students participated under the guidance of Yashaswi R.

Students participated in YUKTHI Innovation Challenge 2025 and AICTE Product Fellowship, presenting innovation and prototype-based projects.

Mohammed Afnaan Ayub secured 1st prize in Ctrl+Alt+Compete Hackathon held on 8 June 2025.

Suraj Shashidhar secured 2nd place in Karnataka State Muay Thai Competition held from 7th to 9th November 2025.

Suraj Shashidhar participated in Creed Amateur Wars held on 4th October 2025 and received a certificate of achievement.
