About Department
The department offers undergraduate program and a recognized Research Supervisors where the students are involved in Industry collaborative Research, Consultancy and State of Art Labs which contributes to the social betterment.
To achieve this, our curriculum provides a strong foundation in both the analytic and technological aspects of VLSI Design Engineering and explore internship opportunities in industry and world-class universities.
The department caters to the Outcome based Education which helps our students to learn, develop, and lead lives of impact.
Faculty who are very passionate about teaching are also involved in a number of research work independently and in collaboration with industry and other renowned Research organizations.
Students are provided with ample opportunities to work on projects, skill development apart from regular curriculum, encourage taking part in national / international design contest / tests / quiz, in order to make them competitive and industry ready.
The major goal of the Department is to cater the holistic development of a student with a conducive Learning Environment.
Department Profile
The department of VLSI Design and Technology of Dr.AIT was established in 2025 with an intake of 60 students to the Under Graduate (UG) program and it is autonomous under VTU. The overall objective of the department is to contribute significantly, to the realization of the Vision of Dr.AIT. The department has formalized this objective in terms of its own Program Vision and Mission which are in-line with the Vision and Mission of the Institute.
